The Yamada, Tateishi, and Hanji Laboratory New Year's Party was held.
The party kicked off with Professor Yamada's rock-paper-scissors tournament, as seen in the photos, and the venue was buzzing with excitement.
The prize was Professor Yamada's book, “Fundamentals of Fatigue in Welded Structures,” making for a fitting start that symbolized our lab.
I was seated among many working professionals and had the opportunity to hear many interesting and insightful stories, including tales from the lab's past and advice on job hunting.
It was also wonderful to reconnect and chat with seniors who shared the thesis period last year and those close in age, whom I hadn't seen in a while.
I'm already looking forward to next year's New Year's party!
